We use the same donors who have bequeathed their organs to those in need. This provides an added benefit, as their organs have already undergone clinical testing and are approved for transplantation. However, we have additional requirements for candidates:
- All our donors are of legal age and no older than 25
- Initially, the data must show that the donor was in good health with no harmful habits (such as alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or other medications).
- The cause of death should be an accident, to ensure that the human tissue was not subjected to any hospital or home treatments—such as injections, IVs, or medications.
- Genetic testing of the donor for potential deviations and predispositions to certain diseases is required.
- We also thoroughly examine the donor’s relatives.
- Our internal certification process for approving human tissue is much more stringent than the FDA’s standards.

I've been a member of the club for 3 years now, and during that time, I've traveled to meetings in 2 different countries. I particularly enjoyed the barbecue session, which was an informal gathering in one of the Asian countries.
